Toddler House

18 months - 3 years

Some refer to this developmental period as “The Terrible Twos.” We disagree; toddlers are terrific. We offer a calm, nurturing introduction to independence, language, and routine.

A gentle start to independence

The toddler years are a time of rapid growth. Language, movement, and independence are all developing at once. They are not fragile beings to be managed, but developing individuals driven toward independence.

Movement, language, and will are emerging simultaneously, often with intensity, and our Toddler House provides a calm, consistent environment where your child begins building confidence and capability.

Each day, toddlers engage in simple, purposeful activities that support real-life skills:

Pouring, cleaning, dressing, and communicating

These experiences help children develop language, coordination, concentration, and a sense of independence.

What your child experiences

A supportive environment

The classroom is designed specifically for young children, orderly, peaceful, and easy to navigate. Everything is sized to fit their small hands and growing abilities. With child-sized tools, toddlers can interact with the environment confidently and joyfully.

Teachers, what we call Guides, provide gentle support while allowing each child to try, repeat, and succeed on their own.

Building confidence early

As toddlers gain independence, they also develop trust in themselves.

This early confidence becomes the foundation for future learning.

Ready to move up

Once children are 3 years old and toilet trained, they begin to show a greater confidence in his independence, a curiosity about bigger ideas, and a desire to discover what comes next beyond the Toddler classroom. At this stage, he is ready to transition into the Children’s House program, designed for children ages 3 to 6.
